I bought this cigar in a sample pack of “premium” cigars for a nice cheap price. Obviously their premium-ness is suspect due to the cheapness of the bundle, but in this case I actually enjoyed the 5 Vegas Classic. It was one of the better ones of the bundle.
It is described by the seller as medium-bodied. It is a torpedo cigar, which is not my favorite type because the tapered end, though cool looking, requires that you snip off nearly half an inch to reveal an opening large enough to allow smoke through. Still, many smokers love the torpedo style.
The first thing I noticed was its smooth draw, which is always a pleasant surprise. It had faint earthy tones which were delightful, giving the cigar a nice rich flavor. It had a decent burn which I did not have to touch up, the ash was nice and solid and the smoke was white and thick. The wrapper was ok, nothing to brag about, but it was a nice little cigar for the price.
